Adamawa PDP: Why I was removed as party chair – Madaki

Date:

From Umar Dankano, Yola

The sacked chairman of the Adamawa State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Joel Madaki has reacted to his sudden removal as the state party chairman by the national leadership of the party as announced by the party’s National publicity secretary, Chief Olisah Metu yesterday.

Chief Madaki told journalists in Yola that he was removed because of his resistance to imposition of candidates in the party in the state adding that internal enemies have started their mischievous way of causing a lot of havoc to the party and stampeding the growth of democracy.

“I was removed base of my strict ideology to rule of law and sticking to what is enshrined to the party’s and our country constitution whereby all candidates are equal before the party; nobody should be given any preferential treatment” he stated.

Madaki maintained however that the truth will soon prevail in line with his effort to see that PDP is still the ruling Party in Adamawa.
