This is contained in a press release from the office of the Special Adviser Press Affairs and Information to His Excellency Governor Ibrahim Gaidam Abdullahi Bego and made available to our reporter in Damaturu the state capital
“This is to inform members of the general public that following discussions with heads of law enforcement agencies in the State in which the ongoing security efforts within Damaturu metropolis were reviewed, His Excellency Governor Ibrahim Gaidam has approved a review of the 24-hour curfew imposed earlier in the town today,” the release stated.

It added that the curfew hours will be reviewed further on the basis of recommendations from the heads of law enforcement agencies in the State as progress in security is made.
