Buhari Unveil 2014

Former Head of State, Muhammadu Buhari, has defeated all his contenders in a sweeping majority of 3,430 votes to clinch the presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Buhari outshined four other aspirants to win the ticket at the party’s national convention held at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.
The other contenders and their votes are former Vice president, Atiku Abubakar with 954 votes, Governor Rabi’u Kwankwaso of Kano State 970 votes, Governor Rochas Okorocha 620 and Publisher of Leadership Newspapers, Sam Nda-Isaiah 10 votes.

With this development, the former military head of state will be facing President Goodluck Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2015 presidential election for the second time, as he did so in 2011.
