‘No Morality in Business’, a fraudulent mantra, says Group Chairman

The Chairman, Forthright Security and Investment Limited, Mr Johnson Teniola Faronoju has said that the common saying that there is no morality in business was a fraudulent mantra that must be discouraged if Nigeria must meet her economic goals.

Mr Faronoju started this at the end of the year programme organised in Lagos to appreciate his staff and customers alike for their outstanding contributions to the vision of the company since January, 2014.

He said one of the things that have given the company an edge over its contemporaries over the years was the fact the company was living up to its name ‘Forthright’ in all its business dealings without deviating from its core value which was integrity in business.

The Chairman of Forthright, the parent company for Forthright Properties, Forthright International, and other subsidiaries said the company has evolved over the years with business integrity as its hallmark and anyone named with the company, be it staff or customers have been identifying with this core value.

Meanwhile, a member of the Board of Directors of the Company, Prof. Ademola Ariyo, while addressing the audience, charged the members of staff to ensure that the name of the company “Forthright” reflects in their character, saying that integrity pays.

According to him, many of the staff members have had cause to handle huge amount of money over the years without funny stories, however urged them to continue that way, saying that sooner or later they would reap it.

While speaking to newsmen after the programme, the Head , Corporate Affairs of the Company, Mr Segun Alabi said the significance of the event is to merry and get together after the year’s work and to also re-strategize for the new year.

The event witnessed a beauty pageant where Titilope Bamigbola emerged as miss Forthright 2014, having contested with three other contestants.

The popular Lagos comedian, Owen G and friend, Baba D Baba were there to crack the ribs of the audience in an electrifying jokes in an atmosphere of fun fair and thanksgiving that was concluded with presentation of gifts and other incentives to outstanding staff.
