The pastor incharge of Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) Central Area District of Abuja, Rev. John A. Ibrahim, has called for people to return to God, in the New Year.
Delivering a sermon on the topic ‘God promises for Restoration, Rev Ibrahim who from the book of Ezekiel 36:24-27, said when people rededicate themselves to God, then He will restore that which has been lost in them and the nation at large.
“God is ready to do a great thing anew in this nation, when we obey God’s will as a nation and return to Him with all our challenges that we faced in 2014.
“Because, as we enter into 2015 fully, He (GOD) will reveal to us how to move this nation to the promise land only when we do not disappoint Him,” the cleric stressed
The Reverend further stressed that in the new year people should endeavour to preach peace and love to one another no matter the situation that happened last year, as there will always be a light that is brighter at the end of tunnel.
Also, he urged people to continue to pray for the Nation for free and credible elections in this year’s,as they vote for new leaders that will take charge of their collective affairs.
“2015 is filled with God restoration and cleanser as we forsake our idols as a people and people; He will bring new peace to the world as we overcome our current obstacles,” he added.
