Dakingari’s Chief of Staff, Magoro others defect to APC

The former Chief of Staff to Kebbi State Governor, Audu Lamba and a major stakeholder in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state has finally defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Lamba who made his declaration weekend at Zuru alongside Sen. Magoro, General Tanko Ayuba, Col. Manga and others said that their defection is necessary because the PDP is not a party that has the interest of the masses at heart.

He said that the PDP government is aware of what is happening in some part of the North but did not put in place effective measures to curtail the killings of innocent soul.

“Our people are dying and nothing is been done, we love this country and we would not allow such to happen” he said.

Speaking at the occasion, the APC state chairman, Barr Maccido Atthairu also lamented over the situation of the country, stressing that the economy is in shambles and the security and protection of the lives of the people were not been handled well by the Nigerian government.
