No fewer than six personnel of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Directorate of Road Traffic Services (DRTS), otherwise Vehicle Inspection Office (VIO) are to face disciplinary action for alleged various offences committed within the recent months.

According to the Deputy Director in charge of Operations, Wadata Bodings, who disclosed this recently, said the six officers of the VIO, have been thoroughly interrogated over the alleged offences.

He added that others who also breached the operational rules would face appropriate sanctions, but added that none of the affected persons have been sacked.

“There are some erring officers who appear under disciplinary committee, about six of them were actually interrogated for various offences, and there are others that are undergoing disciplinary action.
