Wife of the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hajiya Aisha Buhari is to head the APC Women Presidential Campaign Council as the chairperson of the three-member board of directors for the council.
This was made known in a release issued to journalists yesterday by the APC Presidential Campaign Office in Abuja.
Other two members of the board are the wife of the Vice Presidential candidate, Mrs. Oludolapo Osinbajo, as co-chair and Hajiya Ramatu Tijjani, the APC Woman Leader as a national adviser.
According to the release, Hajiya Mairo Tanko Al-makura and Mrs. Adejoke O. Adefilere have been appointed as Vice Chairpersons northern and southern region respectively.
The APC women campaign council apart from having leaders from across each of the six geopolitical zones has representation from across the 36 states of the country.
