Election: Jonathan commissions 363 patrol vehicles

In order to guarantee effective policing during this month general election, President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday commissioned 363 vehicles for use of the Nigerian Police.

 

The vehicles were part of the 2,564 operational vehicles to be procured for the Force.

 

Represented by his Vice, Arc. Namadi Sambo, at the ceremony held at the Eagle Square, Jonathan said, “The procurement of these vehicles is aimed at boosting the capacity of the Nigeria Police Force to deliver effectively and efficiently in that direction.
