The Adamawa state Gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party(LP),Umar Mustapha Madawaki has collapsed the party’s structure into All Progressives Party (APC) over alleged unresolved differences.
Madawaki who made this disclosure Friday at a press conference in Yola, said since he joined the Labour Party,the party’s hierarchy has not been cooperating with him, especially his governorship ambition.
He decried that the LP from the national to state levels have not been supportive to his desire of becoming the next the governor, alleging that they even go round saying the party has no governorship candidate, just to frustrate him.
“It is in the light of all these that we entered into discussion with APC and after exhausting negotiations, have decided to collapse our entire structure into the APC.
