The four times in row Albanian champions, Skënderbeu Korçe, have snapped up Nigeria youth international Ovbokha Agboyi on a two-year deal.

But the 19-year-old’s transfer to Skënderbeu Korçe has not yet been announced officially because the necessary paperwork needed to complete the switch is missing.

The impasse at the Nigeria Football Federation has prevented his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) from being sent to Albania.

Thus, the defensive midfielder will not feature for his new team when they clash with BATE on Tuesday in the Champions League Second Qualifying Round at New Borisov Arena.

The new Skënderbeu Korçe number 11 has been training with the southeastern Albania outfit for the past few months, and was offered a contract after impressing the technical crew led by Mirel Josa.

It has been claimed by Ovbokha Agboyi’s camp that he is a free agent, meaning Skënderbeu Korçe will not part with a single Euro for his transfer fee.

A product of Bayelsa United, Agboyi will join another former Flying Eagles player Nurudeen Orelesi at the Snow Wolves.
