The Emir of Katsina, Alh (Dr) Abdulmumini Kabir Usman has comfirmed the appointment of retired Justice Adamu Bello as the Sarkin Pauwan Katsina.
The appointment was conveyed to Justice Bello in a letter to him from the Emir drafted in Hausa language which was dated May 25, 2021.
The Emir’s letter personally signed by him said the confirmation of the appointment followed a letter he received from the Katsina state government with reference no: S/SGKT/77/S.2/VOL.11/207 which was dated May 24, 2021.
The Emir’s letter noted that the Katsina State government in its letter approved the appointment of Justice Adamu as the Sarkin Pauwan Katsina, Hakimin Kankara.
Accordingly, the Emir confirmed the approval and conveyed the appointment to Adamu Bello, and also proposed June 12 as the coronation date.
