The Yobe state Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has stated that no community in Yobe State has been excluded from his administration’s development agenda.
Governor Buni challenged critics to identify any community in Yobe without a project executed under his leadership, asserting that no such claim has been substantiated.
The governor made these remarks during an interactive session at the Government House in Damaturu, commemorating the sixth anniversary of his administration.
He attributed the equitable distribution of development projects to his commitment to fulfilling the overwhelming mandate given to him by the people, recalling that he was elected with widespread support across all political wards in the state.
Highlighting key investments in healthcare, education, rural-urban development, water facilities, and youth and women’s empowerment, Governor Buni cited emerging data as proof of his government’s positive impact on residents’ lives.
Despite facing challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic and a global recession early in his tenure, the governor noted that his administration had achieved significant milestones.
He praised the government’s ability to deliver infrastructure and social services despite limited resources.
