A Community leader and retired civil servant, George Adikwu, has raised alarms of possible fresh attack in Edikwu community of Apa Local Government Area of Benue State.
It would be recalled that 13 persons were recently killed by gunmen.
Adikwu who raised the alarm during an interaction with newsmen in Makurdi at the weekend, accused Chief Ada Ochekwu of masterminding of the threat and regretted that government has turned deaf ears to appeals by members of the community to call him to order.
The retired civil servant said Chief Ochekwu is not the choice of the people of Edikwu even as he urged government to endorse the popular choice as that would be the panacea to the crisis.
