A Kaduna State High Court 2 sitting at GRA Zaria has convicted one Mohammed Kyauta Aminu of Pan Daudu Village of Igabi Local Government Area of the state to 21 years in the Correctional facility.
Aminu was convicted on a two-count charges of possession of illegal, prohibited firearms AK-47 rifles and kidnapping, thereby, committing an offence punishable under section 393 of the Kaduna State Penal Code Law 2017.
The second charge is possession of an AK-47 rifle, and stolen cattle of one Alhaji Ifi and Alhaji Wada by so doing, committing an offence under Section 272 Kaduna State Law of 2017.
Delivering the judgment, Justice Rabi Salisu Oladoja said, “Mohammed Kyauta Aminu is hereby, convicted of the offence of Abetment contrary to Section 45 of the Penal Code Law 2017 and to serve 21 years in the Correctional Facilities.”
