The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Traditional Council, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari and Chief Imam of Ilorin, Alhaji Bashir Soliu have urged Nigeria Muslims especially the people of the state to continue to live in peace to further attract more infrastructural development to the state.

They also charged religious leaders to inculcate the habit of embarking on the preaching that would promote peaceful co-existence among believers.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari in his sallah message,delivered shortly after the two rakat prayers marking the 2014 Eid-l-Kabir Sallah celebration, led by the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Alhaji Muhammad Bashir Soliu advised politicians to always follow path of peace in their activities.

In his sermon, the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Alhaji Muhammad Bashir Soliu, stressed on the significance of the Eid-l-Kabir festival adding that Muslim Ummah should always fear Allah and continue to pray for love, peace and harmony in the society.

He also appealed to rich and affluence Nigerians to always extend their generosity to the downtrodden in line with the teachings of Islam stressing that Prophet Muhammad

and his caliphates were known in the history as Muslims that gave alms and assist less privileges in the society without considering personal gain.
