Gbagyi Elders Forum in Niger state have raised alarm over the rate of killings and perpetrated by bandits and kidnappers in Shiroro, Munya and Rafi local government areas of the state.
Speaking to journalists on behalf of the forum in Minna, Hon. Pius Wakili narrated series of attack in the affected communities.
He decried that if nothing is done to put an end to the wanting destruction of lives, farm produce, food insecurity is certain.
Wakili applauded the doggedness and patriotism exhibited by the proactive vigilantes and other security agencies in curtailing series of attack in Zazzaga and Kachala communities.
He charged them to redouble their efforts in combating the menace in those communities.
He noted that it is time for harvest of farm produce and if nothing is done to assist this communities it would be disastrous.
