The Yobe state Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has said that his administration is set to launch a massive agrictural programme to facilitate agricultural revolution to enhance food sufficiency and security in Yobe state.
Gov. Buni started this in his sallah message to Muslim faithfuls on the successful completion of the one month Ramadan fast.
The governor said government would this year launch a massive agricultural programme to facilitate agricultural revolution in Yobe state to enhance food sufficiency and security.
“I wish to use this opportunity to appeal to the good people of Yobe state, especially our energic youth, to take advantage of this intervention to explore, exploit and expand the agricultural potentials in your various communities” he said.
“Our government is committed to making agriculture productive, attractive, and profitable in the state. This is to promote food sufficiency and security in the state.” Gov. Buni said.
He assured the people that government would continue to provide the necessary infrastructure to fastrack development to improve the lives of the people.
The Governor congratulated the Muslim faithful on the successful completion of the one month Ramadan fast and prayed to Almighty Allah (SWT) to accept every act of worship executed by the people during the holy month.
