As part of its deliberate plans to unlock opportunities in the digital economy, Kaduna State Government in partnership with GFA Technologies, has launched a digital skills training for 100,000 youths and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the State.
Launching the Project at the Kaduna ICT Hub on Wednesday, the State’s Deputy Governor Dr. Hadiza Balarabe said, the digital skills training is in line with the government’s vision to harness digital opportunities for job creation and economic prosperity in Kaduna State.
Represented by the Senior Special Assistant on Stakeholders Relations, Engr. Martins Galadima, the Deputy Governor expressed confidence that the collaborative effort between the State Government and GFA Technologies will equip individuals and businesses with essential digital skills and knowledge to thrive in the modern economy.
According to the Deputy Governor, “The Kaduna Digital Skills Programme marks a significant milestone in empowering the youth and MSMEs of Kaduna State. Participants in this program will undergo training in various digital competencies, such as digital device usage, information search and evaluation, digital content creation, online safety, and more.
“These efforts are in line with the administration’s vision to harness digital opportunities for job creation and economic prosperity in Kaduna State. I therefore applaud GF Technologies for joining forces with the Kaduna State Government on this impactful initiative. This partnership underscores the state’s dedication to fostering collaborations that empower the youth and foster economic growth opportunities.
