The Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development Dame Pauline Tallen has decried the increased of rape cases among children.
Mrs. Tallen who sympathized with the increase in rape among children appealed to government to act fast by implementing a law that will punish rapist who are found wanting.
The minister made this known yesterday in Gombe when she paid a courtesy call on governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya at Government House chamber.
She said there is no solution to avert rape than to implement a law to punish offenders of the crime.
She said if government did not act fast, “we will watch and see our children destroyed by the evil one”.
