From Gambo Ahmed, Lafia
A traditional title holder in Nasarawa State, Mallam Gambo Yakubu Umaru has assured Lafia emirate Council and the state at large of his continued contribution to the development of the emirate council and the state at large.
Umaru, who is the Santali Lafia, gave the assurance while in a chat with Peoples’ Daily in Lafia the state capital.
He maintained that he would continue to contribute his quota in the area of peace promotion, youths and women empowerment and infrastructural development among others for improved standard of living of the people of the state.
Umaru, who is also the Dan Madamin Azara appreciated the Emir of Lafia, Rtd Justice Sidi Bage for finding him worthy as Santali Lafia while assuring of his unflinching support to the emirate council for development to thrive.
