National Directorate of Employment NDE, Niger state has commences the training of no fewer than 20 women on shoe and bag making with fabrics.
The Director General of NDE, Malam Abubakar Nuhu Fikpo made the disclosure while flagging off the 5 day program in Minna.
He disclosed that the training is under the women empowerment branch (WEB) of the Small Scale Enterprises (SSE) department in Niger state aimed at creating employment, wealth and self employment especially among the women folks.
Represented by the Niger State Coordinator, Mohammed Dantsoho Abubakar said that the trainees are to be trained on the rudiments of making shoes and bags with a unique style and designs of the products.
