Thirty two (32) criminal suspects including armed robbers and kidnappers have been paraded by the police in Adamawa state.
Addressing the media during the parade in Yola Monday, image maker of the command,SP Suleiman Nguroje said the suspects were arrested by the gallant officers with the collaboration of the local vigilante groups from different parts of the state.
Nguroje added that the arrested 32 armed robbery and kidnap suspects were found in possession of cash proceeds of their criminal activities worth N1.689.000, noting that four stolen vehicles were also recovered from the suspects.
Among the suspects at the parade was one Mustapha Mohammed, suspected to have once abducted Zainab Abbas, the wife of a High Court Judge in the state lately.
The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO listed items recovered from the suspects to include; 13 AK-47 Rifles, five locally made pistol, 59 love ammunitions (AK48) 7.62mm, 72 live ammunitions (Pistol) 0.6 mm and four Pump Action.
Similarly the Commissioner of Police Afolabi Babatola, after the parade, presented commendation plague to 11 officers and hunters believed to be behind the successes of the arrest.
