The Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) FCT Command, Olusola Odumosu has warned his officers to concentrate on security rather than participate in electoral processes.
Olusola, who stated this on Saturday while monitoring the election said the officers should ensure safety of citizens and ensure violence free polls.
He emphasized that security, not “voter education,” is their primary mandate.
He said the NSCDC will continue to partner with other security agencies to ensure hitch free polls.
