It was an atmosphere of praises and thanksgiving as the House of Purpose Ministry U/Sunday in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna as the National Purpose brought to close the 2024 Fire Convention in Kaduna yesterday.
In his closing sermon titled “ Celebration in Glory,” the senior Pastor of the Ministry, Apostle Yakubu Yusuf, said anyone within the spheres of the Glory of God has nothing but celebration galore.
Drawing inspiration from Isaiah 38: 18-20 and Isaiah 43:6-7 Apostle Yakubu Yusuf urged Nigerians to draw closer to God for them to enjoy celebration.
Speaking on the situation in the country, he urges all citizens to acknowledge the Lordship of Jesus Christ in their lives and offer prayers for the leadership.
He explained that the theme, Glory Fire, is a desperate prayer to God for transformation in Kaduna State and beyond.
According to him, Nigerians need to experience God’s Glory in a new dimension, especially in view of the Nation’s economic challenge.
He added that “until we return to God to reveal his glory to us, there are things we cannot enjoy in these last days.”
The Clergy appealed to Nigerians to seek God’s face and return to his Glory for a divine encounter and turnaround.
“If you are not desperate for God, you will not enjoy his glory, and there are dimensions you will never operate in, which is why the Bible says, you shall know the truth, and it will set you free.
“God is the truth and we need to seek him and his glory with the whole of our heart. Nobody encounters God and remains the same.
“Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life; if we return to Him, we have returned to blessings and eternal rest.”
In his sermon on the opening Day, you the Guest Speaker who is the Northwest regional Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Pst. Paul Odu explained that the purpose of the convention was to understand the essence and the way of God’s Glory Fire.
According to him, the fire of God’s Glory is not just a symbolic element but a living breathing element that changes anything and anyone that encounters it.
“When you talk of God’s glory, you think it of God’s divine presence because when the glory comes, the anointing that accompanies it destroys every yoke in the life of a man.
“Isaiah encountered the holy Spirit, and he was purified; Moses was in the wilderness for forty days, but after he encountered God’s glory, his story changed.
“Glory fire brings transformation, it releases potential in Man, it empowers you to go beyond your limit, it protects, preserves, and shields a Man from evil climate.
However, he stressed that fresh light is needed to encounter God’s glory and encouraged Nigerians to return to God in sincerity of heart for his mercies and blessings upon their lives and the nation.
The convention featured worship ministrations, testimonies, impartation by Men of God from different parts of the Country, and Bible School Graduation.
