He further charged the peace committee to join hands with Nigerians to find a lasting solution to some disputes facing the people in the country.
He pleaded with Nigerians to pray to God to safeguard the Nigeria citizens living in the troubled areas of the country.
He therefore, called on politicians to come together to restore peace in the country for the sake of the people who voted them into power.
Commenting on the APC-led government, Giri hailed President Muhammadu Buhari for the projects already put in place, and asked the people to support Buhari for the second term to actualize his dreams for Nigerians.
In his Easter’s message, the board chairman appealed to both Muslims and Christians alike to continue to live in peace with one another irrespective of their religious difference.
