Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo state, has unveiled Professor Lawrence Ezemonye as the new Vice Chancellor of the nation’s premier private institution.
He took over from Prof. Eghosa Osaghae who presided over the institution for fourteen years as Vice Chancellor.
Before his appointment, Prof. Ezemonye was a former Deputy Chancellor (Administration) University of Benin and a visiting professor to Lancaster University, United Kingdom.
The new Vice Chancellor assumed duty amid high expectation from the management of the Institution, students and the government.
The new VC who is an all-round scholar, had established university research linkages in Africa, Asia, Canada, United Kingdom, and the United States of America.
