No fewer than fifteen persons were reportedly burnt to death in a vehicle fire along Enagi–Costain Duma sharp corner road, in Mokwa Local Government Area of Niger State.
The tragic incident occurred in the early hours on Saturday when a vehicle was engulfed by fire at the sharp corner where the victims were burnt to death inside the vehicle.
An eyewitness, Ahmed Ndagana hinted that the exact cause of the flame is still sketchy and full details of those involved are still being verified by relevant authorities.
According to him, all 15 bodies were given mass burial in accordance with the Islamic rites, while
urging road users to exercise caution, especially around sharp corners and during this rainy season to prevent avoidable accidents.
However, authorities concern are yet to issue official statements on the development as at the time of filing this report.said progress continues on the Kaduna-Kano Rail Line and the Kano-Maradi Rail Project.
According to him: “Funding has also been allocated for the Kaduna Light Rail and Kano Light Rail projects.
“Additionally, the Abuja-Kaduna train service will be upgraded for smoother movement of people and goods.”
Tinubu concluded that these reforms aim to prepare Nigerian youths for the 21st-century economy.
“We have approved a new national curriculum, launched major teacher training programs, and made one of the largest investments in technical and vocational education in decades,” he said.
