As the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, holds its governorship primary in Ondo state today, a total of two thousand, one hundred and eleven (2111) are expected to elect the party’s governorship candidate for the October 10 election.
The delegates are from the 201 electoral wards in the state.
Those already screened for the exercise were; the Ondo state deputy governor who defected to the PDP from the All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon. Agboola Ayayi; the PDP governorship candidate in 2016, Eyitayo Jegede; Sen. Boluwaji Kunlere and Dr. Eddy Olafeso, immediate past National Vice Chairman (South-West) of the party,
Others included Ben Banji Okunomo; Bode Ayorinde; Mr Godday Erewa and Barrister Sola Ebiseeni.
