Images in possession of Peoples Daily have revealed that the 2015 campaign train of President Goodluck Jonathan has moved to London with banners bearing the president’s photographs adorning mass transit buses in the city.

Double decker buses that daily convey commuters across the city of London were sighted with campaign posters calling on London residents to support the president.

It was not clear whether the campaign banners were placed at the instance of the president or some private organisations canvassing for support for the president’s 2015 reelection bid.

It is also not certain whether the Nigeria embassy in London has a hand in the campaign, but the question on the lips of many, is Why should the president seek the support of London residents for a  mandate he seeks in Nigeria?

Questions were also raised as to why the said banners should bear the Nigeria coat of arms.

Observers are also raising questions of legality of the president’s campaign banners in London, especially regarding the source of funding of the project, whether it is sponsored with government funds or not.
