2015: PDP chieftain seeks support for Jonathan

Date:

From Muhammad Ibrahim, Kaduna

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chieftain in Kaduna state, Alhaji Ibrahim Ahmadu, has called on electorates to vote for the party in 2015 so as to give room for continuation in government across the country, particularly Kaduna state.

He said this will enable the government to complete all developmental projects it had embarked upon.

Speaking at an interactive meeting of PDP leaders in Kaduna, he said the party deserved support of all and sundry so as to enjoy the dividends of democracy.

According to him, President Goodluck Jonathan has put in place machinery that would help for the actualization of all the party programmes aimed at alleviating the sufferings of the people.

“In spite of campaign of calumny by the opposition, minority of Nigerians have expressed the hope that Jonathan government has a good plan for the country and should be supported by all at the 2015 general elections.

“In the last five years, the Federal Government has virtually repaired and completed all federal roads across the country and as today 70 percent of these roads are nearing completions,” he said.

The convener of the meeting, Senator Abdulaziz Haruna Zago, said the meeting has become necessary to articulate the achievements of the Federal Government in the last few years in order to persuade the electorates to vote him into office once again.
