A group known as Idoma Coalition has passionately appealed to Benue people to concede the governorship seat to the minority Idoma people.
Coordinator of the group, Mr. Abutu Friday, who made the appeal at the weekend during a chat with this reporter noted that Benue North- West as well as Benue North-East zones had produced the governor of the leaving the Benue South zone.
He urged the other two zones to consider Benue South zone for the governorship seat in 2015, averring that states like Bayelsa, Akwa-Ibom and Anambra had also given opportunity to minorities to govern them.
Friday said the zone posses credible candidates that could govern the state effectively and should be given the chance to do so.
