2018 Hajj: Zamfara condoles families of 3 accident victims

The Zamfara State Acting Governor, Mallam Ibrahim Wakkala Muhammad has condoled the families of three All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmen of the state who lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident which occurred while on their way to Madina from Makka in Saudi Arabia.
In a statement by the Press Secretary to the Acting Governor, Malam Yusuf Idris, the death of the three party chairmen was described as a great lacuna to the promotion of democracy not only to the state but the north-west zone at large.
According to the statement, the condolence visit was led yesterday by the state Acting Governor, Mallam Ibrahim Wakkala, the Secretary to the state government, Professor Abdullahi Muhammad Shinkafi, Honourable Commissioner’s, Special Advisers, Director Generals and other top government officials to officially condoled the families of deceases.
Delivering a condolence message on behalf of the state Governor, Abdul Aziz Yari Abubakar government and good people of the state to the affected families, the Acting Governor prayed Almighty Allah to accept the souls of the deceased three APC Chairmen of Maru, Kaura Namoda and Shinkafi, Abdullahi Shugaba Ruwan Doruwa, Alhaji Jafaru Gidan Sambo and Alhaji Mudi Mallamawa.
It would be recalled that, the three APC Chairmen from Zamfara state have died on Friday, 31th August 2018 as a result of motor accidents on their way to Madina from Makka, the kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj.
Reports from Saudi Arabia had it that, the accident occurred as a result of the vehicle conveying the deceased went off a bridge falling into a rocky place.
