2019: Buhari will surely seek re-election -BCO

Date:

From Ado Abubakar Musa, Jos

The Buhari Campaign Organization (BCO) has reiterated that President Muhammadu Buhari would undoubtedly re-contest for president in 2019.
National Coordinator of the (BCO), Alhaji Danladi Garba Pasali, said this at a press conference yesterday in Jos in preparation of Buhari’s visit to Plateau State on Thursday.
He said: “President Buhari has no option but to contest for president in 2019; because there is no vacancy in the Presidency.”
“Everything is all about time; the law in Nigeria has it that the right time for people to come out to express their aspiration has come. When the time comes, the president would do that.
“The President is a man that respects the rules of law; that is why he is still waiting for the right time to come,” Pasali added.
He said Plateau State is the home of Buhari, and is very sure that the People will come out enmass to welcome Mr. President.
“Plateau is 100 percent APC, because of the good work that Predident Buhari and Governor Simon Lalong, have been putting in place. That is why the People will still vote them in,” he said.
According to Pasali, the Buhari’s diversification policy, his fight against corruption, his fight against insurgency and insecurity are enough reasons for them to call on him to contest.
“Considering all the peace work and other things that Buhari and Lalong have put, it will then be a great disservice to our Nigerians and this country, should they decide not to re-contest,” Pasali stressed.
