Our reporter observed that when governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto was called to the podium to deliver his speech, the crowd started shouting “a bude border”, meaning reopen border in unison.
Tambuwal, in his response, said he would not say anything about this but the crowd should hear it from Mr Abubakar.
Delivering his speech, the former Vice President asked the crowd “do you need security, agriculture, commerce and reopening of border?”, the crowd answered in affirmative.
Abubakar them said i would offer this four-point agenda for you, the people of Kano if i become president.
“I therefore urge you to vote for PDP from top to bottom. Only PDP can guarantee this four-point agenda for you,” he said.

The PDP presidential candidate noted that if given the mandate, the lost glory of business in Kano would be recovered, adding that he would also revive the welfare of the people.
