Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has urged Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP members in the State not to succumb to politics of intimidation.
Governor Ortom who stated this on Monday in Wannune,Tarka local government area of the State during the Party’s Governorship campaign, also noted that the era of ballot box snatching is gradually fading away.
He urged the Tarka people to come out massively and vote for PDP candidates in the forthcoming election.
“PDP is the only party that will protect you. Tarka local government shares boundary with Guma and due to activities of herdsmen, most of Guma people are taking refuge in Tarka, so you are aware of what I am saying. Your people have also been killed.
“We must therefore, vote wisely. Vote massively for PDP”, Ortom appealed.
