Over 3000 former members of PDP,APC,ADC and KOWA parties have defected to SDP in Guyuk local government area of Adamawa state.
This move was viewed as a sign of good tidings to come.
Adamawa State Chairman of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Abubakar Yusuf made the position of the party public while officially receiving the decampees in Guyuk at the weekend.
He pledged a levelled playing ground to be accorded to all members of the party.
Yusuf said their political platform (SDP) members are treated fairly and equally without any difference, noting that even the new entrants are free to contest for any post of their choice.
