A political pressure group under the aegis ‘Arewa Alliance’ has urged the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria,Mr. Godwin Emefiele to join the presidential race come 2023 elections.
Spokesman of the group, Mr.Dauda Kushu disclosed the position of the group at a press conference in Yola yesterday.
He stressed that the group has based Emefiele’s potential as the next president of Nigeria on his professionalism, economic management, curtailing insecurity and fighting corruption.
Kushu said the group is working assiduously in making sure Emefiele respond favourably to their clarion call for him to serve the country to consolidate the modest achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari.
