As we approach the 2023 general election, the Alumni  Association of National Institute(AANI) has called on the political class to uphold global best practices and focus on the security, welfare, and economic prosperity of Nigerians.

Association said the recent assent to the Electoral Act by Mr. President provides a new opportunity for a free and fair election in Nigeria.

Former Inspector General of Police, Muhammed Abubakar made the call while addressing journalists ahead of the forthcoming AANI annual general meeting and conference, with this year’s theme, “Repositioning AANI for greater effectiveness.”
