I am the authentic candidate of Labour Party (LP) in Gwagwalada Area Council, in the forthcoming FCT Area Councils’ elections, Hon. Zakari Mishebwa Dobi has declared.
Mishebwa Dobi, who made this known in an interview with newsmen in Dobi community, saying that he won the primary election conducted by the leadership of the party in Gwagwalada.
He said: “I polled 123 votes to defeat Hon. Suleiman Ibrahim Barde who has 58 votes at the polls”.
He therefore, called on the entire members of the party as well as the party’s executives to work towards the progress of the party in 2026 election in the area.
He also charged the members of the party to shun anti-party activities during the 2026 election, warning the youths to desist from any act of thuggery.
He equally advised those aspirants who lost the election to should join hands with the candidates of the party to emerge victorious during the February, 2026 election.
He assured said if elected in 2026 election he would focus on the youth empowerment, rural electrification and rural infrastructures among others.
