As some politicians continue to organize alliances to defeat the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election, a group known as the APC Grassroots Governance Group (APC G3) has urged Nigerians to reject every alliance that is not for the interest of the ordinary Nigerian.

National Coordinator of the APC G3, Amechi Chuks Oyema who made the call in a press release on Saturday said it looks like most of those calling for the alliances were people who had held political positions in the past but failed to positively impact on the lives of the people.

Oyema further claimed that a majority of those driving the alliance motion are only aggrieved simply because they are not in power at the moment, even as they pretend to be fighting for the interest of the people.

“Nigerians will not take the organisers of the alliance serious because they had the opportunity to move the country forward but they rather put their personal interest ahead.

“For instance one of the leaders of the alliance have his children leaving in a house worth three million pounds outside the country, while the people of the state he governed are languishing in poverty.

“The alliance is all about themselves and not about the future of the country.

“During their time in office, our refineries, railway, health centres, universities, electricity went comatose. Almost every facet of the society was crippled under the their watch while they lived large with their families.

“Without them, President Bola Tinubu is doing his best to bring the dead facilities back to life. It may not be easy and fast as we want it, but the Renewed Hope Agenda is on course.

“Nigerians must reject the alliance of failed leaders, they have nothing to offer,” APC G3 concluded.
