With about two more years before the next round of elections in 2027, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdulahi Ganduje has boasted that no amount of gang-ups and coalitions can stop the reelection of President Bola Tinubu.
Ganduje who spoke in a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Enlightenment, Chief Oliver Okpala said President Tinubu has done so well that Nigerians from all parts of the country will be eager to vote for him again.
Okpala further stated that Ganduje and his entire National Working Committee (NWC) members are solidly behind the President, insisting that his return to office stands like the rock of Gibraltar.
“The support of Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his re- election as president in 2027 is unshakable and stands like the rock of Gibraltar.
“Dr Ganduje does not have any fear on the re-election of President Tinubu in 2027, he will surely emerge victorious because of his unparalleled performance since he assumed office as President of Nigeria.
“Forget the recent political gatherings and rantings from some politicians who presently do not have any identifiable political base.
“There gathering from Labour Party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Social Democratic Party (SDP) and others is only the gathering of people with different political ideologies and selfish political interes that can never agree on any issue politically.
“The gathering is an assemblage of people with divergent political interests”.
Okpala further recalled the position of Ganduje on the agitation by some politicians from the North that power should come to their region, insisting that time has come for them to rally and support Tinubu’s reelection in 2027.
“Dr. Ganduje had earlier advised those interested in the presidency from the North in 2027 to stop there intentions as the North and people across Nigeria will surely vote and support Tinubu’s reelection as president in 2027.
“No amount of political arrangement or gang-up can stop the good people of Nigeria from re – electing Tinubu as President in 2027”, the statement concluded.
It could be recalled that some notable political stakeholders mainly from the North who supported Tinubu in 2023 have started mobilizing against his reelection.
