The reelection bids of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Plateau State Governor, Bar. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang have gotten a boost as the APC Plateau State Forum Abuja (APSFA) endorsed the duo for Presidential and Plateau State Gubernatorial elections respectively.

Announcing the endorsement in a press conference addressed in Abuja Wednesday, Chairman of the Forum, Hon. Yakubu Pam Gam Sakondong JP said Tinubu’s endorsement was as a result of his visionary and unwavering commitment to strengthen APC.

He said the party had continued to grow in structure, inclusiveness, and national appeal under Tinubu, noting that election of Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda as National Chairman was a clear example of the renewed strength.

Hon. Pam said that Tinubu and Mutfwang’s leadership at federal and state level respectively gave them the confidence in their ability and commitment to continue to do things right in the party.

He also commended the APC National Chairman for introducing several innovative reforms aimed at modernising and consolidating the party.

He pointed out the introduction of the electronic registration of party members, the promotion of youth-friendly policies, and the implementation of stronger women and people with disabilities inclusion initiatives within the party structure as some of his achievements.

Pam praised Nentawe’s commitment to party reconciliation and unity, demonstrated by his personal and proactive championing of internal reconciliation of the aggrieved members and his open-door approach in welcoming decampees from other parties into the APC family.

He expressed the group’s committed to supporting the leadership of APC and working collectively towards ensuring that the Renewed Hope Initiative of Tinubu and Mutfwang’s the ‘Time is Now’ agenda continues beyond 2027 for a more progressive and prosperous Plateau State and Nigeria.
