Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, has urged supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to prioritize grassroots mobilization, insisting that the party’s success in the 2027 general election will depend on direct engagement with voters rather than social media campaigns.
Speaking alongside Hon. Francis Shoga in Abuja on Monday, Seyi Tinubu called on party loyalists to intensify efforts at the community level by taking the administration’s message to every street, household and community.
He encouraged supporters to serve as “communicators, educators, mobilisers and ambassadors of hope,” urging them to engage Nigerians with facts, empathy and responsible leadership.
Also addressing the gathering, Shoga said the campaign had set a target of securing 10 million votes for President Tinubu’s re-election bid.
According to him, the ambitious target can only be achieved through sustained grassroots organizing and meaningful interaction with voters.
“Our mission is clear. Our target is 10 million votes. Our strength lies in our people. These 10 million votes will not come through slogans or social media; they will come from real people, strong structures, meaningful engagement and hard work at the grassroots,” Shoga said.
He further challenged supporters to recruit more members into the movement and remain actively involved in the campaign, stressing that history would judge them by their commitment to the task of mobilizing support for the president ahead of the 2027 polls.
