The Tinubu House-to-House Network has officially declared its support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections, while simultaneously endorsing Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan for the governorship of Yobe State.
The endorsement was announced on Wednesday during a well-attended rally in the Nguru Local Government Area of Yobe State.
In a statement issued by the Media Adviser to Senator Lawan, Ezrel Tabiowo, the event was described as a broad coalition of grassroots mobilizers, traditional elders, women, and youth groups drawn from all 17 Local Government Areas of the state, reflecting a significant groundswell of support.
Addressing the crowd, the National Secretary of the Tinubu House-to-House Network, Comrade Bashir Sharif Tahir, characterized the group as a coalition of progressive-minded individuals dedicated to sustaining the “Renewed Hope” agenda at the federal level while advocating for “continuity of effective leadership” within Yobe State.
Comrade Tahir noted that the network has intensified its collaboration with stakeholders across all wards to build a formidable political front ahead of the 2027 polls.
He emphasized that the endorsement of Senator Lawan—the former President of the Senate—is rooted in his extensive legislative experience, his track record in facilitating infrastructure, and his commitment to regional stability.
“Our support for Senator Lawan is based on his proven capacity to deliver. We are building a united front to ensure that the progress seen at the national level is mirrored by purposeful leadership here in Yobe,” Tahir stated.
Political observers at the event described the rally as a significant early indicator of the shifting political landscape in Yobe State as preparations for the next general election cycle begin to gather momentum.
