Ahead of the 2027 general elections, Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe of the Adamawa Southern Senatorial district has publicly clarify that he is not going to contest for the Governorship seat in the state as being peddles on the social media.
Yaroe made the clarification during a breakfast media dialogue with journalists in Yola Thursday stressing that he is going to run for the Senatorial seat for the third time with the hope that his people will still support him.
On the acclaimed crisis the PDP over proposed merger with other parties to dislodge the ruling APC , Senator Yaroe said that it politically correct for political parties and stakeholders to come together for possible ways to attain to power as being canvassed by the PDP Governors forum, who opted for alliance or cooperation with other groups.
But ,Yaroe said his stance on the matter was that he prefer to go or flow with the decision of his constituents who he represent at the red upper Chambers in Abuja noting that his constituency remain his almost importance as he is always willing to do their binding or desire.
He noted that the wishes of his constituents matter more to him than political alignments decided elsewhere, advancing the people of Adamawa South, like many Nigerians, will naturally have a position on the issue, adding that as a patriot he will wholeheartedly subscribed to their position on the matter.
He pointed out that as a ranking senator, he would have more privileges that would help him in his quest to meeting the plights of his constituents through good representation reaffirming his commitment to sponsoring bills that would have direct impact on the livelihoods of his constituents as he has been doing always.
However, the Senator rolled out his achievements in the areas of health, empowerment, agriculture, water system and other people-oriented programmes for the betterment and benefit of his constituents, noting that he would not relent in putting smiles on the faces of the masses.
While appreciating the journalists for their reportage on his activities in both his first and second tenure as a Senator Yaroe charged pen pushing advocates to always adhere to the ethnical standards of the profession .
Responding on behalf of journalists, Comr. Umar Dankano, hailed Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe for carrying media personnel along in all his programmes and activities.
He called on the Senator to provide more conductive atmosphere for journalists working for him to enable them enhance their work.
