38 drown in Bauchi River

38 people have drowned in Kirfi River, Kirfi Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
Chairman of Kirfi Local Government Alhaji Bappa Abdu Bara disclosed this on Monday in Bauchi while answering questions from reporters.
He said, “Today 7th October 2019, I want to commiserate with the people of Kirfi, Bauchi State and Nigeria as a whole over the loss of our brothers on their way to their farms. About 40 of them entered canoe and unfortunately 38 of them were drowned while two people escape.
