Mobile Banking: Group set to create 2million jobs in 6 months

In its bid to address the swelling number of unemployed in the society, an Organization, Bizi Mobile Cashless Agency, has promised to create two million jobs between November 2017 and April 2018.
Chairman/CEO, Bizi Mobile Cashless Agency, Alhaji Aminu Bizi stated this while briefing newsmen in Kaduna yesterday.
“With agency banking, I am assuring that from now to between March and April next year, we would create a minimum of two million jobs,” he said.
According to him, already, several are already benefiting from agency banking courtesy of Bizi Mobile, with representatives scattered across the 774 local government areas of the country.
He said that because of the profitability of agency banking, several graduates have quit their jobs to become agents under him.
“I am urging Nigerians to take advantage of this new technology to earn a decent living for themselves,” he said.
Speaking further, he said that becoming an agent does jot require much capital, as someone with as little as five thousand Naira in his account can do business as an agent banker.
“You can become a banker in your community. A tea seller can become an agent. A recharge card seller can become an agent. One you have a kiosk, you can use the premises for agency banking,” he stressed.
Aminu Bizi said that currently, he is running a scheme, that has seen to the employment of female orphans in Kano and 130 are already benefitting, adding that he has concluded plans to expand the scheme to other states.
He explained that if the sacked teachers in Kaduna had knowledge of agency banking, they would have taken advantage of it to establish themselves and would discover that more money can be earned.
The CEO said that in recognition of his contributions to the society through agency banking, he was recently presented an award by the Ado Bayero University Kano, where he also delivered a lecture.
