Ighalo bags awards

Nigeria and Yatai Changchun striker Odion Ighalo has bagged the 2017 Ballers Award as the Nigerian Attacker of the Year.
Apart from his goalscoring prowess, the Super Eagles striker based in the Chinese Super League has had a wonderful year in 2017 as he also launched an orphanage named under his name.
Formerly on the books of Watford in the English Premier League, the forward opened the Ighalo Orphanage Home which was launched on December 16 in Lagos.
In the wake of that feat, he has won the Ballers Humanitarian of the Year as he took part in nation building through his orphanage.
On the other hand, having netted 15 goals in 27 Chinese Super League appearances in his debut season, he has claimed the Attacker of the Year accolade.
