At the resume hearing, yesterday Justice Bako urged the prosecution to make available to the defendants all the necessary papers containing the charges against them before the next adjourned dates.
Earlier, the counsel to the EFCC, Barrister Sam Ogulobisi has told the court that the prosecution had added two more charges against the accused persons.
However, the counsel to the accused persons, J.B Daudu has vowed that his client will fight for their rights in making sure that they were presented with the relevant papers containing the charges before the next sitting of the court.
Those standing trial with the former governor, Ibrahim Shema over the alleged N11 bn fraud include, Sani Hamisu Makana, former commissioner of local government and chieftaincy affairs, Lawal Rufa’I, former permanent secretary ministry of local government and Ibrahim Lawal Dankaba, former chairman ALGON.
